Reports are coming out that President Obama and his state department team are acquiescing to over 60% of the demands of the Iranian government regarding recent negotiations to obtain nuclear power and the subsequent access to nuclear weapons.

It is generally agreed by a number of governments in Europe and the Middle East that economic sanctions from the west have had an adverse effect on Iran’s economy and have worked in pressuring Iran in this matter. However, the potential removal of these sanctions by Secretary of State Kerry and Obama eliminates Iran’s incentive to cooperate with the west. There is also the underlining concern that an agreement to eventually allow Iran nuclear capability could expose Israel and the United States to nuclear attack.

Most people don’t realize that during the Iraq war many of the I.E.D.s (improvised explosive devices) which killed hundreds of our troops were supplied by the government of Iran. It is not necessary to speculate what a government that has had ties with Hamas, Hezbollah and various elements of Al-Qaida would do with a nuclear suitcase bomb.

Members of the Iranian government have frequently referred to the United States as ‘the great Satan.’ Their leadership’s disdain for our country dates back to 1979 when Khomeini was installed as the Supreme Leader of Iran.  It is pure folly to trust them with nuclear energy and ultimately the capacity of a nuclear bomb.

Yet, our President continues to demonstrate his unwillingness to protect the United States and our allies. Several years ago, he declined support of a movement regarding human (including women’s) rights in Iran, where those rights are sadly lacking. Obama even refuses to acknowledge that Christians are arrested for their religious beliefs in that country.

Now we are in a position to allow them to ultimately acquire nuclear bomb capability.  With our politicians refusing to secure our borders (which most liberals continue to ignore),it wouldn’t take much for a radical jihadist to ignite nuclear suitcase bombs in America and forever change the course of history.
